#MathArtChallenge Day 30: Labyrinths

The Challenge: Draw a labyrinth.

Materials Needed: Patience, paper, pencil, maybe a compass.
Math concepts you could explore with this challenge: Proportions/ratios, sequences

Depending on how you use this activity, you may engage with different mathematical standards. I’ve listed possible connected math content above. Here are a few suggestions for how you might integrate the 8 mathematical practices. Feel free to add your own suggestions in the comments!

1.) Make sense of problems and persevere in solving them. Which openings/paths can you make in order to have a viable labyrinth? Keep in mind that labyrinths are different that mazes. Your goal here is to have one long, continuous path.

6.) Attend to precision. Greater precision ensures a clearer path.
